What Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric medicine is a non-invasive procedure often used to treat chronic non-healing wounds. During hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the patient is placed in a chamber containing 100% oxygen at pressures of more than one atmosphere. Hyperbaric treatments typically last about two hours. Most patients will feel no differently than they would at home in their beds. They can watch TV or simply take a nap.

The Care We Provide

Why Wound Care?

Chronic wounds can cause patients to suffer wounds that don’t heal or fail to improve within four weeks. While most wounds heal quickly, these may not, and can cause severe problems if left untreated.

  • Laboratory and Vascular Evaluation

  • Cellular or Tissue-Based Products

  • Wound Measurement and Photographs

  • Patient and Wound Assessment

  • Debridement to aid in the removal of dead, damaged, or infected tissue by surgical or other means to improve the healing potential of the remaining healthy tissue.
